When you're ready, we assist with every part of the application process: preparing your resume, practicing interviews, translating and explaining job descriptions, and helping you understand workplace expectations. We are proud to support individuals navigating workforce entry or re-entry—especially refugees, immigrants, and others whose prior experience or education may not fully transfer to U.S. standards. Coaching

Our one-on-one coaching is designed to guide you through the entire employment journey—from getting qualified to staying confident in your new role. We understand that entering or re-entering the workforce—especially in a new country—can be overwhelming. That’s why we take a step-by-step approach to support you.

We begin by helping you complete any necessary requirements, such as training and certifications, so you can move forward feeling fully prepared. Once those are in place, we shift our focus to the next phase: connecting you with job opportunities that align with your interests, values, and experience.

Through personalized coaching, we help you:

Practice for interviews
Understand professional communication and workplace culture in the U.S.
Translate and interpret job descriptions and expectations
Build confidence in presenting your skills and background

But our support doesn’t stop once you get hired. We provide continued follow-through, checking in regularly to make sure you feel supported in your new environment. If your interests or needs change, or if challenges arise, we’re here to help you adjust and keep moving forward.

Through our low-to-no-cost connection program, we offer direct, personalized support to help you apply for jobs, prepare for interviews, and explore work that aligns with your skills, interests, and lived experience.

While our primary focus is on supporting newcomers and marginalized groups, we’re here for anyone who’s eager to work and just needs help making those first connections.

We also understand that the hardest part is sometimes just getting started—especially when training costs, paperwork, or unfamiliar systems stand in the way. That’s why we don’t wait for the “perfect moment.” We meet you in the real moments—during walk-throughs, casual conversations, or job site visits where the spark of possibility can start. When we can, we partner with employers and community organizations to reduce financial barriers and help cover essential costs like certification fees or onboarding expenses.

Trainings & Certificates

The goal isn’t just to get a job—it’s to build a career that’s worth your time, effort, and growth. Many of the roles we connect people to require up-to-date certifications, and we’re here to make that process easier and more accessible.

We help you stay organized and on track by identifying the trainings you need, guiding you through enrollment and completion, and explaining how to maintain your certifications over time. We also help you track expiration dates and stay compliant, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Depending on your job goals, we may support you in completing essential certifications such as:

CPR & First Aid
Medication Aide (MA)
Mandt System® Training – A behavior support and de-escalation course often required for working in direct care, developmental disability services, and behavioral health roles. This training equips you with the tools to build safe, respectful relationships and manage crisis situations with dignity and safety.

Whether you’re entering fields like healthcare, DD services, or behavioral support, we’ll help you gain the qualifications that help you feel confident and ready to succeed.

Your Path Forward

Your journey doesn’t end once you’ve been hired—in many ways, that’s just the beginning. At Nahrain Ventures, we’re deeply committed to your long-term success and well-being in the workplace. That’s why our support continues long after your first day on the job.

We provide a structured six-month follow-up after placement, where we check in with you to make sure everything is going smoothly. During this time, we focus on how you’re adjusting to your new role, whether you’re feeling confident in your responsibilities, and ensuring you’re staying up-to-date on all required certifications and documentation. If anything feels uncertain, frustrating, or unclear, we’re right here to help guide you through it.

But our support doesn’t stop there. If you discover a new interest, want to pursue further training, or feel ready for new responsibilities, we’ll help you map out a plan for what’s next. Whether you're aiming to grow within your current position, shift into a new role in the same field, or explore a completely different area of interest, we’re here to walk that path with you. As you progress, we continue to offer guidance on renewing certifications, updating important paperwork, and accessing additional job coaching or mentorship when your goals shift.
